The Equip Conference is a two-day annual conference that takes place at Miracle Life Family Church. This conference is focused on equipping leaders and those serving in the local Church with the necessary tools needed in order to serve effectively. It is a place where these godly leaders and those actively serving, come together for a time of praise and worship, fellowship and growing in the word.
The next Equip Conference will take place on Friday, 7 and Saturday, 8 March from 9:00 to 17:00 hours. Cost of the conference is K100, which includes a meal on both days. Payments made after Sunday, 2 March will not include lunch.
Main Speaker
Pastor Walker Schurz together with his wife, Haley, have ministered in Southern Africa since 1992 and serve as Senior Pastors of Miracle Life Family Church and as directors of Rhema Bible Training Center in Lusaka, Zambia. He is committed to raising up a generation of godly, effective leaders who will leave a legacy for Jesus on the African continent. Pastor Walker is a graduate of Oral Roberts University and Rhema Bible Training College (USA) and is the father of Timothy and Jessica.
Rev. Tokunbo Adejuwon has a wealth of experience in ministry, having served in various roles including pioneering works, pastoring, and administration. He also travels both nationally and internationally to minister the Word of God. He is known for his passionate and fervent preaching style, and he emphasizes the importance of faith and following the leading of the Holy Spirit in the Christian walk. He is married to Dr. Akunna and they have three children – Zoe, Sophia, and Victor. They currently reside in Abuja, Nigeria.
Bishop Harrison Sakala is the Senior Pastor at the Tabernacle of David Assembly, a steadily growing church in Lusaka. He has been the pastor of this congregation since its inception in his living room in 2004. Bishop Sakala has planted many churches, with the Tabernacle of David being number 37. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree from the Trans-Africa Christian University and is pursuing a Masters program in Malawi.
Bishop Sakala has held various influential positions in the church, both local and international. He has served as: President of the Pentecostal Assemblies of Africa headquartered in Nairobi, Kenya. Leader of the Pentecostal Assemblies of God in Zambia, as overseer, for 15 years. In this period, the ministry grew from 574 to 1800 churches Bishop Sakala’s ministry philosophy is to serve the Body of Christ and always esteem others above himself. His dream is to establish a multi-campus congregation in Lusaka and adopt struggling churches.
