Who We Are

If you’re a teenager in the Lusaka area, Impact Youth is the place to be every Sunday afternoon from 13:00 to 14:30 hours. Impact is a ministry of MLFC for teens aged 12 to 18 years old. We exist to help you find God’s purpose for your life.

In Your Life

When it comes to church, we all tend to think we have to be something that we are not in order to be accepted. That’s not true at Impact. Impact is a place where you can come exactly as you are, and no matter where you are, who you’ve been, or what you’ve done, we want to help you figure out the next steps in your relationship with God.

The People

People can be intimidating, but we think we’re a pretty friendly bunch. You may have to figure this one out for yourself, but we promise to treat you like family as soon as you walk through the doors. It can always be intimidating to try something new, so we’d encourage you to bring a friend!

Reach Out

Reach out to your schools. Reach into our church. If you’re coming to Impact for the first time, or looking to invite a friend to an upcoming event or a Sunday afternoon service, we believe that Impact is a place where everyone can come exactly as they are.

We are excited for you to connect with other teenagers and our team of leaders at Impact. In addition to hanging in person, you can also connect with us online via Facebook and Twitter. If you want, you can even sign up to receive texts for upcoming events and encouragement.

No matter where you are in life, it’s God’s will for you to grow spiritually and to thrive. We offer a variety of ways for you to grow into whom God has called you to be. We feel the best way to begin growing on your own is by reading your Bible. We know the Bible can feel a little bit overwhelming, so if you have questions, you can always ask an Impact leader.

We believe that the local church is the hope of the world. And if the local church is the hope of the world, then the teenagers at Impact are the hope for Lusaka, Zambia and for Africa. Once we begin to grow spiritually, it’s God’s will that we go and change the world.
