Vacation Bible School (VBS) is an annual five-day event for children aged 6 to 11 from every race, background, and denomination. It is a time when kids experience God’s amazing love and presence in a child-friendly manner. The event is filled with fun games, snacks, cool crafts, and good music. It is held annually during a school holiday.

VBS is more than just a fun-filled week; it’s a meaningful time for your child to:

  • Build friendships with other children.
  • Learn and respond to the truth of the gospel.

  • Inspiring lessons about God’s amazing love.
  • Fun games, cool crafts, and great music.
  • Daily snacks provided.

Are your kids ready to dive deep into an unforgettable adventure? This year’s VBS themed: Scuba – Diving into Friendship with God, invites children aged 6 to 11 to explore the depths of God’s love while building lasting friendships and having loads of fun!

To ensure the best experience, VBS is divided into two streams.
Please note: A child can only register for one stream and cannot switch between streams.

  • Stream 1: From Monday, 28 April to Friday, 2 May.
  • Stream 2: From Monday, 25 to Friday, 29 August.
  • Time: 08:00 to 12:30 hours each day.

Both streams are open to children aged 6 to 11 years.

  • Cost: K150 per child, per stream (covers snacks and craft takeaways).
  • What is the capacity: Limited to 1200 children per stream.
  • Who can attend: Children aged 6 to 11 from all backgrounds and denominations.
  • Registration period: Sunday, 26 January to Monday, 3 March, at 17:00 hours or when we reach capacity.

Parent Information

  • A smile and excitement to learn and have fun!
  • Comfortable clothes (jeans and a t-shirt).
    Parents, please avoid skirts or dresses for girls as activities involve games.
  • A full stomach. Snacks are provided, but please ensure your child eats breakfast before arriving.

  • Drop-off is from 07:15 to 07:45 hours.
  • For safety reasons, please do not arrive earlier than 07:15 hours as no supervision will be available.
  • Walk your child to the Drop-Off and Pick-Up Zone.

  • Packed lunchboxes or water bottles. (We’ll provide everything needed.)
  • Phones, video games, or electronic devices. These items could distract your child and are not guaranteed to be safe.

  • Pick-Up is from 12:30 to 13:30 hours at the Drop-Off and Pick-Up Zone.
  • Late pick-ups beyond 13:30 hours will incur a K100.00 penalty, to be paid at the Bookshop before your child is released.
  • Your child will NOT be release to a taxi or Yango drive without your confirmation for their safety.
